RECOGNISED FOR EXCELLENCE

CESA received the distinction of Finalist in the 2015 NECA Excellence Awards in the Large Projects category for our work on the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building at UTS, that provides teaching, learning, research and office space for about 1600 students and staff of the UTS Business School, Ultimo. The project broke ground in November 2011 and completed in November 2014 with Official Opening in February 2015.

The building has been awarded 5 Stars Green Star Design rating and has been commended for its many sustainable design features, including CESA installed electrical appointments such as:

• Energy efficient LED & T5 lighting, zoning & controls
• Energy efficient external lighting with daylight sensors
• A campus-wide Energy Management System with energy and water sub-meters
• Real-time sustainability performance data linked to digital screens in public areas
